The challenge

Independent gyms and growing chains were stuck choosing between clunky legacy management software and expensive per-member SaaS — neither built for how a 24/7, access-controlled gym actually operates.

Operators needed joining, payments, door access, and reporting to work as one system, not four products taped together.

What we built

Gym X is a full gym management ecosystem built by APX. Members join and pay online, their membership drives door access around the clock, and staff manage everything — plans, payments, cancellations, and club performance — from a single admin portal.

A companion member app for iOS and Android handles gym access and account management; the 24/7 Fitness Hub app runs on this platform. A reporting suite gives operators daily live membership numbers, sales by club and plan, cancellations, and scheduled reports delivered automatically.
