Data Deletion

You can ask for your data to be deleted from Whataripoff at any time. There are three ways to do this, described below. You can use any of them, or all three.

1. Disconnect in Whataripoff

If you have a Whataripoff login:

  1. Log in to Whataripoff.
  2. Go to Data sources.
  3. Find the connected account and click Disconnect.

This immediately deletes the stored access tokens for that connection. Whataripoff can then no longer read data from, or publish to, that account.

2. Ask us by email

Email privacy@apx-digital.co.uk and ask us to delete your data. Please include:

  • your name and the email address you use with Whataripoff, Facebook or TikTok;
  • the Facebook Page, Instagram account, TikTok account, ad account or Google account the request is about.

We will delete, within 30 days:

  • stored access and refresh tokens for your connected accounts;
  • account and page names and IDs, and the profile details (name and email) of the person who connected them;
  • cached reporting data and report snapshots;
  • post content, thumbnails, and photos and videos uploaded for posts.

We will email you to confirm once the deletion is complete. We may need to check that you are the account owner before we act on the request.

3. Remove Whataripoff from Facebook

You can remove Whataripoff's access directly in your Facebook settings:

  1. On Facebook, open Settings & privacy and then Settings.
  2. Go to Business integrations (on some accounts this is called Apps and websites).
  3. Find Whataripoff and click Remove.

This stops Whataripoff from accessing your Facebook and Instagram data from then on. To also delete data we have already stored, email us as described in option 2.

TikTok accounts

To remove Whataripoff's access to your TikTok account, open the TikTok app and go to Profile → Settings and privacy → Security & permissions → Apps and services permissions. Find Whataripoff and choose Remove access. This stops Whataripoff from reading your TikTok data or posting to your account. To also delete data we have already stored, email us as described in option 2.

Google accounts

To remove Whataripoff's access to your Google account, go to your Google Account's third-party connections, choose Whataripoff and remove access. To delete data we have already stored, email us as above.
