Getting Started

How do I start a new game?
Tap New Game on the home screen, select your game mode, add your players, then choose who throws first — coin toss, throw for the bull, or skip straight in.

What game modes are available?

  • 501 & 301 (with Double Out, Master Out, or Straight Out finish rules)
  • Cricket
  • Around the Clock
  • Bob’s 27
  • Halve It
  • Shanghai
  • Singles, Doubles & Score Training

How do I enter scores?

Three input modes are available — toggle between them during a game using the button next to the turn indicator:

  • Numpad — type the visit total directly
  • Dartboard — tap where your dart landed on an interactive board
  • Segments — tap individual segments for each dart

During a Game

How do I undo a dart?
Tap the D1 / D2 / D3 slot for the dart you want to undo. Tapping the next empty slot records a miss.

How do I abandon a game?
Tap the red  in the top-right corner of the game screen. You’ll be asked to confirm before the game is removed.

Can I have multiple games in progress?
Yes — start a new game at any time. All in-progress games appear on the home screen. Tap a game to resume it, or swipe left to reveal the abandon button.

Why can’t I hear the score announcements?
Make sure your device is not on silent mode. The announcer is designed to play through silent mode — if you’re still not hearing anything, try restarting the app. The announcer requires a network connection on first launch to initialise.

Scoring & Rules

What is Double Out / Master Out / Straight Out?

  • Double Out — you must finish on a double (standard tournament rules)
  • Master Out — you can finish on a double or triple
  • Straight Out — any dart can finish the game

What happens if I bust in 501/301?
Your score for that visit is cancelled and your remaining score stays the same. The announcer will call “Bust.”

Data & Privacy

Where is my game data stored?
All data is stored locally on your device. Dartwiz does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers.

How do I reset my stats?
Uninstalling and reinstalling the app will clear all local data including game history and lifetime stats.
